Project Foster Kids USA is a non profit organization based out of Eugene, Oregon. It was founded by Schuyler Davis, a former Foster Child who aged out of the system after spending 12 years in Foster Care. Project Foster Kids USA aims to raise awareness in three areas
- The Prevention of Child Abuse with recognition of Early Warning Signs
- The physical, mental, and emotional effects that happens when a child is placed within the system
- The aging out of Foster kids who turn 21 yet don't have the skills to succeed and therefore need additional supports to succeed.
In raising awareness in these three areas, Project Foster Kids USA will occasionally hold fundraisers, toy drives, etc to provide the foster kids
with items that are either necessary to survive or will help them through this tough time. We also will occasionally partner with people or organizations if they are willing and have the time. We are strictly volunteer. We do not get paid nor do we pay people to help. This is a 100% pay-it-forward type organization. Any and all monetary donations goes towards the foster kids we do not keep any.
